Gotta find some wheels for my new ride!

I just sold my 79 SE TA and bought a 74 AMX off of a guy on the Lateral-G board. I am going to be picking it up in a few weeks and I need to find a set of wheels for it.

I'm going to try and borrow a set of wheels off of a friend to use till I get my new wheels, since we worked out a deal for a lower price on the car since he wanted the wheels that were on it.

But now I need some ideas for wheels for the car, I have no idea what will work. I am going to go with 17s or 18s, probably a 10" wide out back and a 8 or 9" wide up front. I do not know what backspacing works yet, but I am researching it.

I need to keep the total cost down around $1200 or so, too. I'd prefer less, but I know you get what you pay for after my Sport Max problems on my 98 TA.

      Any suggestions?

Check out our endless series. If you like one of those styles let me know. The price will be in your range for 17's.

We can do a 17 in a 7", 8" or 9.5" wide in that series.

PM me if you have any questions.

I really wanted a wheel with a gunmetal or dark silver center. I don't want anything shiny other than the lip, I want the car to be all business. It is going to be dark blue with black accents and everything blacked out, so dark wheels would be perfect.

We can powdercoat the centers of our wheels any color you want in matte or glossy. They may all be shiny in the pictures but that's easy to change. Powdercoating does add to the price however.

Let me think about it. I run a side business powdercoating, so that isn't an issue. The main issue is that I don't have the time to do stuff for myself for a few months, so I just wanted to bolt on and go.

I'm looking in the same price range. It's hard to find anything with coated centers that cheap. These come in lots of sizes

Thanks for the PM, those wheels are offered in Charcoal grey centers, and fully polished, so either would be the same price I quoted you, just let me know!

      Thanks again.

OK guys, I am going to go with a wheel that is a little cheaper so I can put more money into other things on the car. I'm going to get some of the charcoal torqlites from Jon.
