Drill some holes in the quarter wheel lip and plug welded it to the wheelwell

Ultimatly one of these pictured works, but drilling works great to. For concourse original restoration I have a professional machine called a Lenco Spot with a attachment much like this hand held. it is just a much more powerful.toll then the handheld. But we have a hand held also fo special areas.

But with all that said, we drill and mig 90% of the panels on Pro Touring cars because we smooth the lips anyway. The spot welder is nice on restorations because you want those welds showing.

We'll be posting some footage of an HTP QuickSpot II welder doing these like Frank suggests on our S71 Olds project very soon... (next day or so).. I'll post the link here.
