my new wheel tire combo 72 chevelle

after months of research i found a wheel tire combination i like (budget included) i wanted 17 inch wheels but i didnt want really low profile tires, this is what i came up with! i figured some one could find it helpful for project!!!

      this is my project....

      Car: 1972 chevelle ss clone

      Wheel Make: american eagle

      Wheel Model:211

      Front Size:17x8

      Front Backspace: 4 inch

      Rear Size:17x9.5

      Rear Backspace: 5.5 inch

      Front Tire Size:255.50.17 nitto 450

      Rear Tire Size:275.50.17 nitto 450

Suspension mods: stock big block moog springs stock rear springs

there is no motor or trans or hood so its sits high in the front, and the car is on jackstands on the drivers side so its not level

I have the EXACT tires on my car now. I think they are perfect for a big A-body car like your Chevelle... but for my smaller 79 Monte, they are too big. Sooooo if anyone wants them they are for sale!

thanks, it took me a while to come up with the combo, the 40/45 series just seemed a little too small, they would probably look good if the car was lowered but mines going to ride stock, so i went with a muscle car look but still with the modern wheels,
