I loved the console in my '97 GTP too! Too bad it's so narrow.

I'm surprised that no vendor has tooled up a console that meets the modern wants of a couple cup holders and an arm rest. Add a flat place to put gauges or aftermarket radios up towards the front and I think it would be a great seller.

We have looked in to it.even made the mold for a nice fit and all the options, cost was going to be to high for low sales.I figured i would have to sell 5 a month to keep price below 500.00.I sent designs out to sevaral fiberglass companys for quanity pricing and it was still high dollar for mail order. We make our own for each car we put interiors in and it takes time.

5 a month... that doesn't seem like it would be too hard. I've had this same idea, but haven't pursued it at all as I'm not an interior guy. I figured someone like you, or Marquez would eventually do something like this... and I think guys would pay 500 bucks for a nice piece. I know I would. Get someone like Classic Industries to put it in their catalog, and I bet you would meet that order.

That's a beautiful idea, and gives me some ideas of my own. Thanks for sharing.
