Installing F-body drip rail trim

I got my new drip rail trim in and having problems installing it. Looks like the edge need a little help from a hammer to lock it in place, does this sound right? :confused:

From what i've seen when taking mine off you need to slide it all the way on then bend the edge over. I would just be very careful hammering it over.

The aftermarket pieces I have seen are total crap. Not even close to the right shape nor do they want to stay in place. I had a parts 69 Firebird we pulled a set off of for my neigbors 69 Camaro. Went on perfectly

I just knew these pieces were crap just really didn't want to admit it. Anybody have some good original chrome for sale?

I have a pair left, but they need a couple dings knocked out of them. They are a 10 compared to the repops, but I think they are a 7 on a 1-10 scale.
