I was wondering what the legality is on removing the front bumper on a 67-68 camaro? I've seen alot of them done, I like look of it, but I dont know if it is truly legal to do so.
Do they make a behind the valance bumper kit?
just wondering..

I do not believe it is legal, but I choose not replace the one on my 68 as I think it looks better as well as resembling the SCCA look of the 60's. A reinforment brace would be a good idea for safety sake, but I do not know of anybody making such a contraption. The vast majority of police are kind to us car hobbiests as long as you respect the laws and do not misbehave and show off while in your car. If you look for trouble, and get pulled over, it is going to be one more ticket.

Most LEOs don't notice it but it is not legal in most states to remove the bumpers. IIRC rear bumpers on trucks are the exception and only still in some states.
