Correct, those are anodized black. They have a hint of purple tint when anodized. If you are interested in your own set, I'm a Fikse dealer. Send me a PM with your size/style requirements for a quote.

How tough is that anodized finish on those wheels. Will having the tires installed scratch or mar the finish? Always wanted to know.

Anodizing is tougher than paint, but it still requires a good tire installer to be careful when mounting tires. No different than when they try to keep a set of polished lips perfect.

Thanks but they are sponsoring the build I'm doing! What I have been told by them is that when you anodize the wheel it helps in heat dissipation!
Also, whoever is going to buy Fikse wheels better do it now because I've been told that they just got an order for 1000 wheels from some race team so turnaround is going to be twice what they normally take!:attn:

Boy Oh boy, those are some seriously badass looking wheels! I'd bet they are out of my budget also, but hey if someone is looking to get rid of a set, give me a ring!
Wasn't the blue finish on the 99' Trans Am Pace car wheels also anodized??? I should know since I'm looking at the huge poster of it but they sure look like the same finish.

99 T/A pacecar had a blue tint clearcoat painted over the polished wheel. It wasn't anodized.
Price-wise, Fikse are not cheap. Figure around $3K for 17s and around $4K for 18s....anodizing is extra. But, they are arguably the best 'performance' wheel that also happen to look great. Super lightweight stuff.
