Will it fit on a 10" wide wheel?

285-295 work well on 10" I would say 11" would be best unless you want it to bulge.

10" is the minimum I'd say to run them on. I've ran them on 9.5s before, not recomended though. Ideally they should be on 17x11s.

Yea +1 on the recommendation of 17x11, if you take a look at tire manufacturers specs the widest tire they approve for a 10" wide wheel is a 305 which is the point I'm at, and for handling it could be argued that a 295 is better since its more square with the wheel edge or what have you... not sure of the terminoligy, but I'll likely go with a 295 next time around, I just went with the 305s since I traded for them and they were esentially free! :)

On a 10" wheel I'd really want to run a 295 or 305 at the max.

Mines on a 11". Its a nice fit. The sidewall is nice and square to the rim, it doesnt roll in or bulge out.

most tire manufacturers list a 9.5 wheel as the narrowest wheel for a 315.10" will work but 11" is best.

Wow I wouldn't feel safe with a 315 on a 9.5" wheel, but I suppose if thats how they list it.
I know performance tire manufacturers such as Nitto tend to be a little more conservative in the range they specify, obviously since most of their customers will probably push their tires to the limit and 315 on that small of a wheel isn't a very comfortable margin.
