It's me again. Still trying to stuff the P-1SC under the hood of my '66 Corvette. I just finished mocking it up and now find that the drive belt rubs the power steering pulley, and barely clears the upper control arm cross shaft. If I lift the belt up about an inch, all is well. Would this be something that could be fixed with an idler pulley, and if so, where is a good place to get one?
I'm also wondering, since I need a shorter belt, should I take into account the spring loaded tensioner and idler pulley when I measure, or should I just measure around the crank pulley and supercharger pulley?
Thanks to all with more knowledge than me!
