Theres a minor scratch vertically, not to deep but deep enough where you can feel it if you slide your hand around the wall youd notice it. Its down at the bottom of the cylinder wall and i was wondering if i can use a hone to get rid of it without needing to bore it over? Its already .030 now and im trying to save a trip to machinest. Should i just hone it out and use one of the old rings and check the gap on it?

Another question, Total Seal makes A moly ring kit for 4.035 bore. Can i hone out the 4.030 to 4.035 to fit the Total Seal rings if need?

if the cylinder is not oval.. (measure to check) a hone should be just fine...

What grit blocks should i start out with and gradually move to when honing? And how would i finish the walls?
