      C6 Rims on 67, 68, 69 Camaros...do they fit?

Does anyone know if the rims from a C6 corvette (18X8.5 Front----19X10 Rear fit a 67, 68, 69 camaro? Would spacers be needed? Clearance issues? I know the rear will need to be tubed a bit to fit, but what about Front fender clearance if the car is lowered 1.5"-2"?

Does anyone have these rims on their car?

      Pictures would be nice!!

I plan on doing the front and rear suspension, brakes, and wheels first.

First and foremost I want the car (67 Camaro) to have the right stance, great handling suspension and awesome braking.

I will post in the Braking forum on what is good and Affordable.
      As well as the suspension.
I anyone has ideas they would be greatly appreciated!!!

I was thinking C5 or C6 suspension and brakes.
      Help Please.....

There are some pics on this site of C5 rims and I have been told that both C5 and C6 can fit with adapters. Spacers won't work on anything over ~1/2"

Right now I have C5 wheels (17x8.5/245/45/17 front and 18x9.5/275/40/18 rear) on my 69 Camaro with 2" adapters. No rubbing or any other issues. I just got my C6 wheels and tires (18x8.5/245/40/18 front and 19x10/285/35/19 rear) but I'm a ways out on fitting them because somehow a weekend engine swap turned into a year of spending way to much and the car being torn apart. I think I need a shrink!!!

Where did you get the adaptors and how much did they cost?

65 a piece kinda sticks out in my mind but I really don't remember. It was early 2001 when I had them made. The place was local here in Denver - it was Performance Wheel & Tire. I don't know how the company is anymore, I stopped dealing with them a long time ago.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Yes. With the new wheels I'll probably be OK in the front. Because the new rear wheels are 1/2" wider I might need something else.

I like that, it looks cool. I wonder what they would look like on a Monte. Hmmm...... I'll have to do some photochopping.
