      4th Gen F-body steering column

Does anyone know if the steering wheel from my 69 will fit on one?
What about the mouning is the close enough to my 69 to work?

      Thanks

      4th Gen Steering Column

I just received my 2001 Firebird column, I'll try to get some measurements this weekend.

      Measurements

      Sorry for the delay...

The total column length from top of center shaft to bottom is 37". From the top of the shaft to the center of the dash mount is 14 1/2". The center to center on the dash mount is 5 3/4". The firewall flange shortest distance to the end of the shaft is 6 1/2" and longest distance is 8 1/2" (I didn't measure the angle of the flange.) The large nut on the top of the shaft takes a 21 mm socket, and I didn't see any other fasteners holding the wheel on-but I haven't tried taking it off yet. I haven't had time to put it into the car yet to see how/if it will work out. Let me know if you need more info.
