Convertable 3-point seats??

Say, anyone tried to install BMW 3-series convertable seats in a 67-69 f-body? I am thinking of it, but not sure how it will go- would be cool due to 3-point belt built into the back of the seat. Seat still folds forward to allow the kids into the back. If anyone has done this please lemme know. How hard was it- how do the electrics hook up???

3er seats a huuuuge money but nice of you can afford them. Some Sebrings also have integrated belts but not so much with the lateral support. Last gen Bonnevilles as well as some Caddys and Buicks have integrated belts and theyre pretty cozy. Only downside is that they dont fold forward very far. Im using a set from a 2003 Bonneville in the LeMans. Both are powered (including lumbar and bolsters) and both are heated. One thing to be careful of is the seatbelt locking mechanism. Some cars have it electronically activated from a module external to the seat. I know the Bonneville seats us the old mechanical inertia-activated style but i dont know about the BMW or Sebrings. The retractor is hidden beneath the rear panel. I would take a vertically mounted seatbelt and use that.

I'm still trying to solve this one.
I called Morris classics and they don't have an after market belt set for 'verts. :banghead: Would you need to strengthen the floor to use a seat with the belts built into them? does anyone have pics of the BMW seats installed?
