hahaha...
$2300 for wheels and center caps. $1200 for tires. You can get the tires cheaper online (around $1,000 w/ shipping), but I opted to get the tires from a local place.

I have been thinking about going the same route with my wheels. Can you please send me some pics once you get them mounted.

I loked at those when they first came out.
Freakin sweet.
Yeah. Send some pics when you put them on the car.
I can read the 245/40 for the fronts, what are the specs for the rears????

The fronts are 245/40/18 and the rears are 275/40/18. I went w/ 5" backspacing on the rear wheels. I think once the car is sitting down I will need to lower the rear a little to get the stance I want. I might roll the fender lips so the tire is tucked nicely up in there.
Here are a couple shots with the wheels on the car. Not the best pictures because the car isn't sitting down, but I will post more once the car is put back together.

Thanks for the compliments guys! :twothumbs
dhardison - They are bare. I asked Newstalgia about clear coating them and they told me there has been problems with clear coating them in the past. I guess the clear coating can turn a tinge of yellow if they get too hot. I went ahead and went with their recommendation of not clear coating them after I heard that.
I will take some pics when its sitting on the ground. Might be another couple weeks. Gotta get the Baer Tracks on all four corners and finish the plumbing on the Vintage Air first.
I am sure once it gets on the ground it will be back on stands shortly to get the stance right. I'm putting Heidt's 2" dropped spidles up front and looking at going with DSE 3" drop leafs in the rear. Gonna roll the lips and tuck the rear tire right up in the fender.
Hopefully the Heidt's 2" drop spindle drops it enough in the front. Might have to put a 1" Hotchkis spring up front to get the look right.

Greetings from Downunder and very nice one Big Boi!!!
do you by any chance know the weight of the rim on its own (no tire attached) ?
Being billet, they might be lighter than the Z06 wheels.. as im running 6 pistons (PBR vette calipers at the front)
cheers mate!
looks great

Those wheels are very nice. I think what makes them so cool are that they retain the "stock" look. But those are hot! Lets see now all I need is a '68 RS, and a set of those !

Off hand I am not sure of the weight. I wish I would have weighed them before I mounted the tires... :\
They make them in various sizes - checkout www.newstalgiawheel.com. The actual company that makes the wheels are Wheel Vintiques out of Fresno, California.
When I was talking to Newstalgia they said you can get them painted. I have seen some pictures where people had the centers painted the original grey color to mimic the original looking rallye wheel. They left the outer polished aluminum - it looked pretty cool.
