Post up any pics of 2nd Gen F-bodies with 285/40R17 mounted on the rear. I have a T/A, but any 2nd Gen Firebird and/or Camaro pics would we appreciated.
Thanks!

Best I can help you with is 275/40/17 on the rear. I doubt 10 mm will make that much difference. If this will help you, let me know what type of shots you are looking for.

He said to his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend. (Sorry couldn't resist. I know, I know :getout: ).

No fitment issues whatsoever...5.5" b/s on a 9.5" wheel w/285/40's is the perfect ticket for these cars.Hope that helps you.

front 275 40 17's rear 315 35 17's Custom backspacing but no rolled lips, mini tubs, spring relocation, or BFH modifications. Fronts just touch fat Hotchkis swaybar at full lock.

Not a Ta, do you have 9.5" rims in the front and 11.0" rims in the back?

digger1978 - yes, 5.5 front 6.75 rear backspacing brings the wheels as far as I could go without having to roll the fenders. Later model year owners beware, the inner wheelwells are different and you should measure your car before buying wheels.

wow this thread is old, but I am looking at wheel and tire options for my 76' TA with stock suspension setup. Id like to go 17x10 or 18x10 on the rear. Any suggestions on tire size that will work with stock setup? Thanks!!
