Hi all, I have the wilwood brake/hub package on my 69 camaro. I was wondering what others have done for backspacing? Its a stock subframe with 2" drop front and rear. I know most use an 8" rim with 5.00" back space. I was going to go with 8" rim with 5 3/8" back spacing. I measured after i changed brakes/hubs and my treadwidth was 3/8" wider on each side. I was wondering what others did with the same combo? Thanks, Greg

Get the brakes installed then take measurements.

There are way too many variables for anyone to say anything remotely accurate.

5.375 is too much BS. The spacing that Nick has is more the norm. You mentioned you have a 2" drop front. Is that by spindle or spring. If it is by the spindle you will never get your wheel to fit because it will hit the steering arm.

I Orderd my Boze wheels with the Wilwood brake package Front and the sizing is 18 X 8 / 5 on 4-3/4 Chevy with 4.3/4 Back spacing (Front)

The easy way to figure backspace is to deduct 3.25 from the rim width. So if it is a 8" rim, go with 4.75. If it is a 8.5, go with 5.25
