Well I thought I was ready to drive it..

I finally finished the Camaro... or so I thought. For those who don't know what I did. I replaced the whole front suspension with a bunch of components that Tyler from ATS recomended:
ATS tall spindles, Global West uppers, and lowers, C5 brakes, Baer trackers, GW sub frame connectors, a new Lee steering box, a new master cylinder and all new Moog components. I might have missed something, but I think thats it. I also dropped in a Keisler 5 speed tranny with a hyd. throw out bearing. I had a TH 400. And to top it off, I also dropped in a G-Bar set-up from Mark at SC&C. I also put a 3" Magnaflow exhaust, and new Stahl headers. All of these vendors were quite helpful and I am quite pleased with everything... This morning I took the Camaro to work and it is running like crap. Grrrr I thought I was going to be able to enjoy it for a little while. I haven't driven it in almost a year. I hope it's just a simple carb rebuild. I will try to get pics posted soon...

MSchu the front spacers are 2", and rear are 1.25". I got mine from Vette Brakes (http://http://www.vbandp.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=62). You can get them on ebay also. The camaro wheels are 17x9 and with 245 40/17 front and 255 40/17 rear.

Well I got the front end aligned. I don't know how it really handles though, because the rear tires rub on the inner fender well when I turn sharp. I also need to grind more off the bump stop tabs that are welded to the lower GW control arm. My turning radius is still way too big. I also found a bad spark plug, and a corroded spark plug wire and socket in the cap. The wire broke when I tried to clean it(the dutch in me...) So I bought one plug and a new set of MSD wires, cap, and rotor. I only bought one plug because the head has some tiny cracks in the cumbustion chamber that let the cooling system get pressurized when I get on the throttle, so I wanted to see if I could ceramic seal them. I have a set of al. Brodix heads that I can use, but they are pretty much bare. It still has a slight miss though. I did a compression tes and they were pretty close. The lowest was 210, and the highest 235. Most were right at 225. I guess I'll check the valve adj tonight.
