Yeah, there is no way that LS1 is making over 500 RWHP.
:headbang:
This must be a joke I am just not getting. Although there are a number of Fox stangs that have done the LS swap

Anyone notice the front-mount distributor (Ford) and the "5.0l HO" (Ford) intake plenum?
It's a Ford engine.

Exactly, that is me in the video.
I made it to give my Ford friends a hard time. I keep threatening to throw an LS1 in there. A light car like that is just screaming for a light weight engine and in bone stock trim an LS1 would be like another 120+ HP.
I just could not resist sharing.
:)
I am kind of tempted to make a custom intake cover that reads LS1 to really play with people.

do it!! i had a nice red 93 lx chassis with black interior that i was going to drop a ls1 / t56 into. a friend bought it off of me just to keep it from happening. i just sold a 91 couple with a 438w that was running mid 5's in the 1/8th and now i have a 93gt to play with. it is H/C/I car that is a lot of fun the drive.
keep it up!!!

I think that I should be able to use a t-5 to keep the swap more under control. I think that I would just need to use one out of a camaro as the bell-housing and input shaft differ.
I have removed about 400lbs from the car so even with the factory stock 5.slow it pulls to a much higher top speed then I would ever care to visit.

He's hoping to collect some "wow! I have an LS motor just like it in mine too!" comments. I'm thinking.

I thought it was just a guy making a joke before I knew it was GChandle.. Funny
I'd take duct tape and tape over anything Ford and write LS3 on it in red and black marker.

Yep, still have both my '64 and '66. Actually if you watch close you can see the '66 in the video.

Mike
I think notchback stangs look good. I think the interior on a fox stang is crappy as hell especially the dash. If I was a drag racer, I would have one.

Yeah, the interior was not much to speak of, but it is all gone now save the seats, and they will be gone soon.
