wheels for my 68 sportwagon
I have a 68 sportwagon and I am looking at putting some 17's or 18's on the front and either 18's or 20's on the rear. I have been reading and have come to the conclusion that the 70 and newers can get a bigger wheel and tire combo under them. I am wondering if I can get a 8" rim with a 245/50/17 tire under the front without rubbing? I am wanting as wide as possible on the back and was thinking a 9" or 9.5" wheel and am not sure on the tire size. Also what are people running for backspacing in the front and rear on the wagons?
