I need wheel help

My daily driver is a 2004 F150 new body style with the 6 lug rims. There is a set of OEM 20" rims that fit the Super Duty F250s that I love. I don't want to do adapters to make them work. My question is could the lug holes in the F250 rims be plugged and new lug holes drilled for my 6 lug pattern. Where I work is fully capable of doing something like this, I just don't know if it will work. Thoughts?

Using my mechanical engineering knowledge, I wouldn't suggest doing that on a cast set of wheels. Anything you do to fill those holes won't be as strong as it needs to be and then you'll drill six new holes in it. When it's all said and done you'll have a very weak section where the wheel bolts on and it will fail.
