Well i finally found a way to mount the seatbelts without that swivel thing i was looking for. Im installing the rear belts now as well as mounting a seatbelt holder for the seat to keep the belt from running away lol.

just looking at those pictures i wouldn't want to be in a crash with it. unless you added some support it doesn't look very safe.

how did you install the rear belts? from the pic it looks like you cut the package tray and put them under it?

i may have to look into puting those belts in since i have a 4th get dash and seats in my car.

I dont see how its un safe, thats how it bolts up to the 4th gen camaros under the T-tops. Just 2 mounting points, and i used grade 8 bolts and just mounted them along the roof brace.

as for the rears, i just cut a single line on the package tray and slide the belt, and mounting bracket through and bolted it on the lower portion of the tray, and bolted up the rear end of the belt to the trunk pan.

I think it's looking pretty good.
But it's hard to tell from the pictures how it's secured.
Above the retractor where the original shoulder straps are or were bolted, it is stronger and has better structural support.

Thanks ARAD RS. I secured it using 2 bolts and a spacer to keep the retractor away from the support so it can lock the belt incase of a crash.

Some clear pictures of this would be nice if possible. I like what you have done and would love to try it on mine. I would just like to be able to see it more clearly.

Well those are with my camera phone so ill try to get ahold of a digital camera for ya.

And for everyone out there the retractor must be mounted in that position or the belt wont slide out because it will be locked.

i went and looked at mine, i can see what you are talking about now but from those pics it looks like you cut and bent a tab over and put a bolt threw it.

Yup lol it was the only way i could get a bolt threw the top, after im done with the mock up (need to adjust retractor, and make custom sail panels) ill just weld the cuts closed.
