I have my seats up for auction on eBay right now. A few moments ago I was out in the garage giving them one last inspection and I noticed that at some point possibly last summer I got a tiny amount of black overspray on them from I don't know what. It's not noticeable until you get up close to them (about 10 inches). Would anyone know of a way to get it off without damaging the leather or the color? The color of the seats are graphite (like a charcoal grey). If I can't get that off in the next couple of days I'm going to have to pull the add and relist them with that damage noted. DAMN THIS SUCKS!!!!

What were you spraying? That will help in figuring out what to use to remove it.

Try some pumice-free gojo hand cleaner.

That's just it...I have no idea. I was spraying a lot of stuff in there last summer. The best I can guess is that it is Hot Hue's "Hot Rod Black" that I used to paint my core support and other brackets with.

I'll try the Gojo. Thanks.

I'd use some adhesive remover. Try it in some innocuous location first, but it will probably not hurt or discolor the leather.
