View Full Version : tires and wheels for the Air Ride Air Bar w/ minitub

I have searched and can't quite find what I am looking for, so here it is.

We are planning on doing the Air Bar 4 link with QA1 coilovers and a custom fabbed minitub. Hoping to do 345s but at least 335s.

Does anyone foresee any issues with this?

Also, is a narrowed gas tank the only option with this setup?

What seems to be the consensus for backspacing on the widely-used 18x12 wheel?

We are working with Air Ride to make some offset bars to clear 335 / 345 tires. If you sit tight for just a little longer, maybe a week or so, we should have the first bars done and tested.

Frank might be talking about me.. i MIGHT be the test mule on this one.

i will know the answer soon.. im in that perticular situation right now..

im running the Gbar and about to fit the 335 tires.. my new wheels are 20x12s my Moser axle was narrowed 2.5 inches on both ends..

its been a small bit of a headache, in fact its the only thing im waiting for.. ill let you know how it turns out..:fingersx::scared:
