      Is upholestery THIS expensive??!!

I recently got a quote on having my 2001 Camaro seats recovered with vinyl and have the piping changed from vertical to horizontal to match my original rear seats. They guy quoted me $1300 for both. WTF??!!!!

For that price I might as well just put Sparco's in there and call it a day. Hell I can get 2 Arizen seats in LEATHER for almost have that price. Is this guy nuts or does that seem about right? I mean...it's really not that involved of a job, all he has to do is copy the leather fabric design with the vinyl and change the piping from vertical to horizontal. We're not doing leather...it's vinyl. Doesn't sound like a lot of work for a professional to me, but maybe I'm wrong.
