About to order my front wheels and tires and want to double check.

18x8 with 4.75 bs to fit a 235/35/18

For a 69 Camaro with stock susp and drums right now but will have someone's aftermkt sub with 13" Wilwoods very shortly.

Thanks

very few of the aftermarket subs allow the use of stock clip backspacing, you may want to decide on a clip now, buy the bs wheels that fit that, and then buy adapter spacers to run in the mean time. most aftermarket subs widen the track width to reduce scrub, etc

I hear what your saying but, I believe the AME sub only increasing the track width a total of 1/2" so I would think I would be safe with a 4.75 bs, no? besides 235 rubber is not at the max limit of what I could fit.

Im running a 9.5 wide rim on a 255 tire up front with a 5.5 bs and i think the general rule of thumb for a first gen is 5.0 bs with an 8'' rim. I could be wrong. I read it on some website.....why are you only running a 235 tire up front?

Well, since I'm only running a 275 out back I want to keep it somewhat staggered looking. Besides 235 maybe 245 is plenty given the cars mission of mostly street driving.

Any larger then 245 may open a can of worms and I'm good on worms for awile.

Someday when I minitub the thing and squeeze 335 in the sum beotch, then I'll go with the fatties up front. By then I'll probably want to get new wheels anyway.

be safe with the bs, check wth morrison or whoever, i would rather need a .250 spacer then be hitting the fender lip
