im pretty sure this has been discussed before but i couldnt find it anywhere. is ther another option besides covan and dse for a dash insert. i thought someone used a covan dash for another application to achieve the flat "DSE" look. i know one is metal and the other is plastic but i already have 5" guages and dont want to have to buy more. any and all help is appretiated.

Chad I think what you are referring to is installing a Covan's Nova dash insert into your Camaro:

I think somebody has done it, but am not sure who.

I did it in my car. In fact I think I may have been the 1st one to do it..it was about 3-4 years ago now.

thanks for the pics and info guys. are you both using 2 1/16" aux guages? ive got the 2 1/16" in my console, 3 3/8" in my stock dash and a 2 5/8" clock where my original clock was. do you think there is evough room for all 7 guages in the nova panel? would there be room if i went 5" on speedo and tach. 2 really sick cars by the way.
