Looks good. What type of sheet did you use for the center?

1st I built a template out of cardboard. I built the sides out of 3/16 plywood and the top out of 1/2 partical board. Covered the top with a carbonfiber sheet. For the sides I cut some bigger 3/16 sides and covered them in vinyl and screwed them on from the inside. Heres some more pics.

Where'd you get the monitor? I want to put some form of entertainment in my car (mini computer with a bunch of movies, or old school videogame system like a Sega Genesis or something) and I was planning on getting a new head unit (Alpine with a foldout monitor), but I like my currentt head unit, and I like the look of a fixed monitor.

You can get monitors like that on ebay if you know what you're looking for. www.mp3car.com is great resource for that stuff, they sell them too and have huge carputer forums.

I got it local but ebay has the same stuff. You'll still need a deck to control the monitor.

Thanks guys, I'll have to check and see if my deck unit can do it. I'm assuming it can since it's a pretty good unit that can do lots of stuff.

Anyway, super nice console, man. I think it'll be just about perfect once you get some cupholders and an armrest in there. I plan to build my own console when I get my new seats, and I may just copy yours. Truly awesome build.

Do you have any pics of the dash and gauges? I'm thinking of doing something similar with my '69 Bird. Are those 3.5" gauges in the speedo and factory rally gauge holes?

Sorry I threw away the template. It would be diffrent than a camaro anyways. I would get some cardboard and make it out of that. Then use the sides and top as a template and transfer it to wood. Thats what I did.
