I have a universal X pipe kit, and I have a smaller X pipe, both are 3" pieces, is it going to make a difference on the size of the actual crossover the universal is 6" and the other one I have is 4 1/4 in area,
I going to look at the Dr. Gas site, and check but I thought, I'd ask around first,
This is for the Nova,

Dr Gas sez- go with the bigger one!
With a lowered 1968 and a 3" system, you will have ground clearance issues. I needed to tuck my pipes inboard as far as possible and up into the shaft tunnel a little to maximize space and not be able to see the pipes hanging there. The narrowest X pipe is needed. I used a Dr Gas and did a bit of modification to it in order to make it work..
Excuse the welds, this was during mock up and they were not ground down yet!

I should have noted this is for the Nova, no clearance issues, YET!
Looks pretty good so far,
