So what do you think guys? Do you think I'm going to be ok once a get rubber on the back rim? I knew it was going to be tight but I didn't know it would be that tight? Yikes!!!!!:drive2:

If your suspension is stiff (and high) enough, it looks like it will clear most of the time.....
But that leafspring may do some shaving!

It should be OK. What width are the rims and what size tire are you looking at running?

The rims are 18x10's. I am test fitting a 295/35 on the rear to see if it will work. The pics are a little deceiving. I have at least an inch of clearance on the inside. I"m more concerned with the tire hitting the fender. The wheel lines up in the middle of the flare so I know I'm going to be close there.
I talked with Tim at PRRC and he's going to look into some options for me if it turns out the tires rub. I was wondering if I could just have the center hub of the wheels machined down? Is that possible? Has anyone done this or heard of anyone doing it? I don't think I would need more than an 1/8" but who knows? Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks Tim for getting the wheels out to me. I guess this is what happens when you try to run too big of a wheel. :hammer:
Here's a few more pictures of the wheels.

Cobra parking only. Look out, man, I think they're about to tow your Benz.

What size are the front wheels and what size tire are you going to run? Keep us updated because I am about to order wheels for my 1967 mustang. I was going to run 18x9 and 275/40/18 but that would be sweet with 18x10. Is your car lowered? Nice car by the way.

Good eye! I used to own a Superformance Cobra so that's where that came from. I guess it's time to take down the sign?
mustang6788, I'm only running a 7" wheel up front with 235's. I've seen guys running 8" and 245's but I've heard most have rubbing issues (if your car is lowered). My car is lowered front and rear. Once the tires are fitted I would like to lower it just a tad more if possible. I'll post more updates as I get farther along. Thanks for the kind words.
