I am shopping new wheels and considering the silver painted C6 Z06 wheels (repros) in 17x8.5 and 18x9.5 sizes. These are done with standard C5 offsets, so I would need hub adapters to make it all work. Nice thing is the adapters are custom made in 1/8" increments so you can dial in just what you need for your particular car.

Question is - does anyone have pics of such a wheel on a first gen Camaro? Probably a shot in the dark. I guess I will have to play with photoshop a bit to see what they would look like on my Camaro.

IMO, late model style wheels with no dish look goofy on musclecars and basically look like a front wheel drive car and hide the actual width of the wheel, making it look less aggressive.

Take a look at Steve Rupp's Bad Penny on this site and his wheels are exactly the opposite of how the new Corvette wheels would look on your car and pretty much the magic size and backspace for a mini tubbed first-gen. Even if you don't have mini tubs like Steve, You should have some dish on a musclecar wheel.

Yes they will work. You need a 2'' Spacer front and rear. Heres how min turned out. I know there C5 Z06 wheels but they have the same offset as the C6 wheels your looking at. Also mine is lowered 2'' rear and 2-1/2'' front and theres no rubbing.
