How many of you are going to use or are using carbon fiber to accent the interior?

I did it in mine. I used the covan's dash and also purchased some peel-n-stick matching carbon fiber and covered the removable plates on my console. Matches up with the dash very nicely and doesn't look half assed.

I made my gauge cluster out of carbon fiber. I took the original one and cut a sheet of cf to fit then epoxied it together. Then I cut out the gauge holes and put a couple coats of clear over the whole thing. I'm also making a pass. side dash trim piece as well as a console piece to hold other gauges and a boost controller.

Looks great. I want to do that with the Monte gauge plate & the trim piece in front of the passenger, as well as the console. Which gauges are those? Where did you get the fabric, & what is the clear you use? Is it made special for CF or is it a varnish like stuff you can get anywhere?

Thanks

Thanks, they are Auto Meter ultralights. The carbon fiber was already a cured sheet, I just sanded it with 600 grit and sprayed it with an automotive clear. I got it off of ebay, it looked like some parts were cut out of it with a water jet or something but there was enough to do the job. The turn signals/ high beam indicator are led's, the bezels came from radio shack. They were chrome but I blasted them and painted them silver.

I plan to use it in the console, dash and maybe even some door panels.
