It took some time (and more $$$ than I would have liked :scared: ) but the custom-upholstered Flofit seats are finally installed. I was going for more of the sleeper look that causes people to do a double take and ask "hey, is that stock?", so I had them done to mimic the stock ones in stitch pattern and design cues. Vinyl outers with black suede seating inserts with the rear also recovered to mimic the fronts. Had the stock metal seatback stampings and chrome trim recreated for the new fronts too. Had the headrests toned down some. Stock emblems in the seat backs as well. They came out amazing.

Pics in my PT Garage. Camera flash makes the suede look chocolate but it's all coal black. What a difference from the originals in comfort and driving support.

If you're interested in a detail freak like I am, go see Jerry at All American Auto Upholstery in Romulus, MI. He went the extra mile to get me exactly what I was looking for and delivered the results. He's done several of Stielow's cars and a lot for DSE too. Does full interiors, trunks, the works. Great guy to work with.

Those look REALLY nice Bob. I like the suede inlays, they give it a classy look.

Thanks, guys. The suede was an effort to keep from sliding around during corners and to keep the backs of the legs from frying when the sun's been beating down, but they do add a cool look as well. Might have to play with the mounting brackets a little, they sit a bit higher than the old stockers but I'll give them some road time first.
