I just bought a new drive shaft, but realised that I needed an adapter U-joint. The measurements should be;
Cap diameter (both ends) 27mm
Total width (one end) 92mm
Total width (other end) 82mm

I tried searching e-bay, but didn't find anything (don't really know what to search for, tried Ford & GM etc). Does anyone know where I can get these online?

Thanks!

ask the fellow that made it if he used 1330 or 1350 series u joints. if so most gm and ford trucks have either one. 1350 is teh stronger u joint. get them w/o grease fittings.

is this built for a GM product or Ford?
This sounds like a standard conversion joint for GM with small caps I cantry to find my ujoint cataloge to get a number and see if I can help.
does the inside of the yokes on the driveshaft have a flat step to the inside of the yoke towards the tube ?
So this is an inside clip joint if it has grooves to the outside of the cap hole.
Which is it?

According to my book this should match the NAPA part number 353 conversion joint:
US specs below and this is listed as one using outside lock rings:It is a combination of a 354 ujoint cross and a 369 ujoint cross.
Cap dimensions: 1.063" on all four crosses
dimension a (short cross from 369) 3.218
dimension b (long cross from 354) 3.622
I believe this a GM conversion joint and I believe this is the smae one I use in my truck.
Good luck

Oh yeah there are a super strength joint NAPA number 275 which is greasable and another that is non greaseable NAPA number 253.
353 $19.99 USD
275 $26.99 USD
253 $$24.99 USD
I am not sure what availability you will have but these prices are from www.napaonline.com
good luck

Thanks for all your answers and help! I actually found the correct size on ebay and recieved it here in Sweden yesterday (total price was 30 $ incl. shipping! :yeah: ).
I mounted the yoke and drive shaft just to find out that the rear u-joint was a different size. :crying:
It's 92mm (3 5/8") over both ends, but one of the bearings are 27mm (1 1/16") diam and the other is 28,6mm (1 1/8").
I looked at ebay the other night, but couldn't find this version. Jegs has one that comes with four 27mm cups and two 28,6mm but Jegs don't ship with USPS and I guess DHL/FedEX/UPS to Sweden will be a considerably non-cheap way of shipping something that small...

Any ideas?

Most of the time you can swap the u joint cups. The outside diameter is the only difference. If you can find a u joint locally with the right size cups you might be able to swap them and make it work. I've done that before.

Yes, I tried this but the problem is the dust seals are different styles so I guess it won't work for more than a week or so...

I'll keep on looking.
