Line x vs. dynamat???

I'm trying to keep within budget on my interior resto. I know Dynamat can be quite expensive, so would some type of bedliner material do the same thing? It would also help prevent rust from forming if applied to the floorpans, correct?

Had the inside of one of my jeeps done with a spray in bedliner for ease of cleaning and when driving down the road it was loud as h#ll. Finally put carpet over it to knock the noise down, much better, just my experience but not really impressed with the noise suppression capability.

im more interested n stopping rust and i plan to put factory deadener / carpet back in over it so yall think its worth putting in first?
