Okay, I am not a short guy or anything - 6 ft - but I just don't like how tall all of these aftermarket seats are. It seems they are all about 36". And everyone's car photos show them pretty far reclined and they still nearly hit the roof of the 1st Gen Camaro.
Am I the only one who thinks this? Or are there any favorites out there that around in the 30-34" range? I don't even require headrests quite frankly.
If not, I am considering some redone factory seats from a 60s GM car that is short, like the 64-65 Chevelle buckets.... maybe.
thanks!

the height of racing seats and aftermarket seats that mimic them are for safety. you need the height to avoid your head snapping back in a crash. you could probably buy some fiberglass racing seats and cut them down and cover them or recover some decent looking stock seats once the headrest is removed.

you may want to check the Scat procar seats, they are a good looking and supportive seat.

Aaahhh.. good point there. Didn't think of that. I have been loking into some shorter stock seats (64-65 Chevelle) that I may try to redo and fir in there. Also find a used Procar Rally set, remove the headrest, and recover.
thanks for chiming in
