Ha Ha. My favourite is the guy in the convertible getting sideways with a car full of people. :drive1: Not sure I'd want to be in there

Sorta reminds me of a NASA event I went to in Tecate Mexico a few years back.

That was my favorite. He just gets up, dusts himself off, and gets back in the car. I gather the old VWs had no seat belts or he just wasn't wearing it.

They had lap belts, but the swing axle trans set up really didn;t help the handling, I have done that in a 68 bug I had, makes for a wild ride, especially if you had alittle HP in the ass end,

Ouch! I wouldn't want to be in that vert either! Most of the Bugs (at least in the states) didn't even have provisions for seat belts until the mid 60s.

Even though some cars where hurt, it was neat to see some of the T3 Fastbacks and especially the Notchbacks...

Problem with that particular turn (Adenauer frost @ Nurburgring)is that upon aproach (you're going uphill) it looks like you're going to make a fast lefthander goes you can see the track continuing upwards. Unfortunately it turns out to be a kind of chicane! So you approach the corner way too fast and then suddenly the turn goes to very sharp to the left and slighty downwards after which it goes upwards and to the right again. Remember that track is more than 14 miles long, so unless you've ridden it about a 100 times you get easily confused when it comes to remebering which turn it exactly is you're about to enter . . . .

Oh and I speak from experience (off course) and almost ended up in the grass/sandpit with my bike.
