      C6 ZO6 Brakes

      I just received my new C6 ZO6 brake set up for my 65 chevelle. My question is, Do i need a new master? I converted to disc brakes about 10 years ago. Using the stock setup from a 70 chevelle. I bought ATS spindles and the rear caliper brackets. Is there anything else i should know for this conversion? THANKS.

      I'm using the stock master from a 7o chevelle. I've heard that I should use an 1-1/8 bore size.

      Hey whats up? I talked to Pete yesterday and he mentioned that you had got your brakes, very cool. I'm waiting for my set to come in, after we went to the beach I started ordering parts (my credit card is on fire). I needed to get the itch again and that did it. email me some photo's of the suspension when you finish, also let me know which master you go with. I am going to pick up a 1 1/8 from a C3 I think. Later, Dave.

      I have the same set up (C6Z) And am looking at the same problem. I got a few anwsers i will post for you to consider if you'd like;

      I'm also considering the use of a hydroboost unit. I spoke with Paul at Hydratech an he suggests some things too.

      I will edit, as pasting a few links demands i search thru my saved stuff.

      Oh and Dave, why C3? At that point why not the original C6 Z unit? I'm waiting on the specs of that unit (C6) from Fred Beans Chevrolet, where i bought the Z06 kit .(AT A GIVEAWAY price at that). So if your interested, i could share the info once i receive it. I wanted to spec out the original unit so i could at least get same in my own set up. I want to use the new Wilwood tandem unit and have a bran new '06 Duramax Hydroboost unit. The HB unit according to Paul will require some fabbing so i have to look into this.
