nothin better than a suicide wrist red interior in a sports car Imo...It's what sold me on my car. I don't have any good shots of mine without flash so it looks terrible, mostly because of the different textures between the seats...I swear they're not really 25 shades different like they look.

I think it looks pretty darn good. If thats factory, that would be an excellent interior (not yours) to pull from and put into an old Firebird, Camaro.

The key is what color is going to be on the outside? One color combo you do not see much, but I think is awesome is red interior and silver exterior. Porsche is the only one that I see do it.

Venemous - I would go with a candy apple or lipstick red. Your car is pretty over the top so you should have an interior to match! Great car BTW!

His car is actually a slick black Camaro.

My all time favorite car is silver with red interior. The 1954-1957 Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing.

The Gullwing is the same car that gave me the idea of going silver with red interior. The exterior color of my car was actually dictated by my wanting the red interior first and foremost. It's funny because I've also got '97 Firebird seats to recover in perforated red leather for the front. I'll have them recover the stock back seat to match.

What did you use to form up the console and where did you get the cup holders? I need to make a console for my car and I need to start soon.

Its all made out of 1/4 wood & aluminum. The cup holders are stainless, and they are actually poker table cup holders, found em on ebay...you can buy em just bout anywhere.

That looks like Scott Whidby's car. He is also from Georgia. It looked awesome. He had a red one that won Year One a few year's back. Scott inspired me to do my car. I think we will see another one of his cars this Year at Year One

I think your best bet would be a combination of red & black or gunmetal accents like you mentioned. My Camaros interior is the stock Carmine red but when I replaced the carpet I went with black as well as the seats I currently have in it since ALL that red gets to be a little much at times.

Either way... with the stealthy black exterior of your car and shaved features eliminating even more razzle dazzle I think you'd have to tie in a little black or gunmetal!

The color is brighter in the photo than real life I think because of the flash but we did these seats in red leather for a Wiley's Coupe customer.

Also, not a first gen, but this my buddy's '64 Chevelle Vert. He has a custom interior shop. I think it turned out awesome. I didn't think I'd like the red, but I love it -- especially with the Black!
