View Full Version : solution to rear park cables for disk brakes.

i bought a new nine inch rear for my 69 and ordered disks from currie. well after being frustraded with the idea of making a park brake cable that worked with the factory pull system i sent the disks back for drums. since then my park brake works fine, but i dont like the idea of drums sticking out of my new 18s! so i saw this picture of a 69 in the projects section. iv asked before how it was done but maybe someone who didny see it can help me out here.

heres the idea! take a lokar brake cable. cut it to length. install it on the rear frame like factory, and crimp a stop on the cable to work with the bracket for the intermediate cable. example:

where would you get the crimp stop from? seems simple enough for all camaro users.
