The TVS is about the best bang for your buck out there! If your car is mostly a street machine that may see occasional track use, I say go for it! Make sure to include wide, sticky tires and big brakes too though.

'70 Nova here as well (click my signature pic for some pics). Originally I was impressed with the handling improvements of the TVS over stock, but was less than thrilled with the ride quality. In the end the ride quality was due to my choice of shocks, so if you go TVS I suggest getting the Hotchkis-valved Bilsteins as well. Overall I'm pleased with the kit, but still had to trim the front coils to get the stance I preferred.

Good point, I have the Hotchkis Bilsteins and the ride quality is great! :twothumbs

thanks for the input guys
Dan that is a beautiful car
I do have another question for you - does you car bottom out any over bumps? i have a 454 in mine and a pretty stock suspension and i tend to bottom out over bigger dips, pot holes etc.

I only had bottoming issues on the front after installing the TVS. Originally I cut a full coil out of the Hotchkis coils, the stance was spot-on, but it bottomed pretty bad. I only had ~1/2" clearance between the front a-arm bump stops. I've since replaced the coils again and this time only cut 1/2 coil. The stance isn't quite as good as before, but it drives much better.
With the full coil cut ground clearance between my old 454s Hooker headers was pretty tight at only 2.5"-3". I dented 3 tubes on the newly coated headers on the '06 Power Tour. The 572s headers are tighter to the floor boards so it's not as bad. Never had any issues with bottoming on the rear (no pun intended).
