swaybar angles??

i put in a 1 1/4 swaybar in, and the back of the sway bar towards the back of the car, is were it bolts to the lower a-arm, its angle is quite steep from lowering the car, will this harm the performance of the bar? do i need to cut the sleeve spacer? so i guess my question is should the bar sit level?

Seems to me that if the bar isn't level (i.e., the arms are pointing up or down) that this would effectively reduce the length of the arm and thereby increase sway bar rate.

www.guldstrand.com The original link was from the Corvette section, but the Camaro section has them as well. I would say they will work as long as they are long enough in your application.

IIRC, ATS also had some in the works. Now with everything else on their plate who knows if they will get them done.

Keep the links a little bit on the long side for a first gen Camaro. They also swing side to side on the bottom end when the lower A arm moves up and down. If they get too short, they will pull sideways on the bar and create a bind. If you have conventional polly bushed end links, don't over-tighten them, especially if the anti-roll bar arm ends are not level, it will bind. It's the eye end of the arms that matters.

Use of the 63-82 Corvette end links will solve this issue.

My local Autozone has an array of different length Energy suspension endlinks, as I think most autoparts stores do. Just measure and find the right length. As Dave suggests make them a little longer and do not overtighten.
