love that black and red 56 olds. featured in custom rodder or rod and custom ( one of them) in may of '05. saw it is up for auction at barret soon. I think the 56 olds 88 is one of meanest rides of the 50's when modified. Got to love the big oval grille opening and space age dash. thanks on the roadster. It not as low now. We had Clean Cut Creations put a new frontend under it with shockwaves and tubular control arms so now it is about an inch or so higher when deflated but it still is pretty low.

Afriend and I were making them a few years ago but it cost too much to have them made and we had to pass the expenses to the buyer $450 per grille,ouch,anyway we are looking for a cheaper fabricator..

They are Forgeline VR3P's 19" X 8.5" (5.25" BS) front, 20" X 9.5" (4.5" BS) rear. Cost was right around $5200 with tires + shipping. Give Frank at Prodigy Customs/GP Superstore a call. He has the best deal you can get on Forgelines, and he it was great doing business with him!

I do love big wheels, they did not exist in 1991? This was my ride during my senior year in high school. I was working in a Tool and Die shop, and put every penny I made in it for a while. Not a pro-tourer, but very low!

15 x 8, 3 pc ARE's wrapped in BF-Goodrich p205x50's,lol, and 8 inch rams(Hydraulics on a uni-body, is not a good thing)6 deep cycle marine batteries, 2 pumps, yada, yada, yada? The car would do a roll'n three wheel, after 2 years the doors would not shut very well, plus the back window popped out once and the mufflers where ground in half,lolol? I loved to make it spark going 60 down a highway? It would go lower but the back would sit lower than the front, so for stance in the photo, I lifted the back up a little. Ah, the good ol'days! I still love the car although it is long gone.(1988 T-Bird w/5.0)

Here's some more. Rebuilt/improved/upgraded most of it. The thing was full of clay, dirt, rust and worn out suspension and steering stuff. All like new again. The carb junk will go once I have the FI system (in the pics) complete. The wrapped headers that I put on are coming off again, got some chrome hooker side exhaust headers. Still have to install the coil over shocks in the rear. The valve covers are coming off also, going w/ fabricated aluminium ones. These are too smooth and too shiney. the car is still on the lift, haven't finished the IRS quite yet, waiting on some small parts (really sucks having to order everything from overseas)
