I have researched a lot about this lately and from what I've read and been told C5 13" brakes require a 17" wheel minimum and because the C6 Calipers do not have cooling ribs on them like the C5's eventhough it has the bigger 13.4" rotor it still fits a 17" wheel... is this info correct ?

Every wheel is different. My Touring classics 12.8" c5 front kit barely clears my Centerlines. All depends on the rim.

I agree, every wheel will be different. I have C5 brakes going on my 67 el camino and I will be needing wheels real soon. Maybe some of you know what wheels do fit (or don't fit without spacers, big hammers or blue tip wrenches), I would be interested in knowing some choices. Maybe list a particular wheel that fits or one you know doesn't. For example, I thought remembering someone saying TT2's won't clear the calipers without spacers. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
