As the subject line says... I'm looking for any good interior (specifically dash shots) pics from a 2nd gen Firebird / TA. I'd really like to find one with an aftermarket dash of any sort.
Here is one I found as an example:

Thanx! Do you by chance know what car that black dash panel came from? Every one I have seen for sale has either been silver / aluminum or woodgrain.

Im sure he just painted a woodgrain dash.
Here is picts of my 72 firebird interior as of last winter.
My dash panel was a wood grain , then painted Crackle Black.

Not finished, but here's mine with the Autometers installed:

I am hoping to have a complete set of Autometers soon...

Are those the 2 1/16" Autometers, or the 2 5/8" ?
Looks good, thanx!

I believe it would fit the 2 1/16" small gauges, don't quote me right now though...measure 1st.
It's just the stock dash but I actually like it like that with the autometers, I think I'll leave it!

Made spacers slightly larger for the tach and speedo for stability

Hey Firckn,
Can I get another pic or 2 of your whole gauge layout? Which gauge is that between the speedo and tach?
Your layout looks good by the way, I want to finish mine up the same way with all the small Autometers. I need ideas for which one to put where though.

It was a nce conversion back in the day. They made abou 500-600 camaros & firebirds. Really bad conversion, good frame bracing though. We decided to ditch the top completely. It is all metal.

I don't have a pic, but I took a stock dash and painted it crinkle black, and then sprayed aluminum over that. Gives it a kind of cast look. Running 5" Speedo/Tach Stewart Warner Competition series and 2 1/16" oil, fuel, and water temp with the red backlighting. Front/rear seats are 2001 Trans Am.
Thanks Beebe. Kinda' weird seeing pictures of my dash posted! You are correct, it is just a woodgrain panel I picked up off of ebay because it was for a non-ac and non guage car. This allowed my to place the 2 1/16 Phantoms anywhere I needed them. Semi-gloss black engine enamel straight from a rattle can.
Wow, what a mess the wiring was. New aftermarket 21 circut harness was a straight up PITA but works great.

Hey Brian, check out www.formula454.com. He's a former member here. He got the panel from Tap Plastics, I believe, and he made it look pretty damn nice, if you ask me.
