We'll i just cut almost a full coil on my front hotchkis 2'' drop springs on my 69 maro, and the stance on that thing hasnt changed that much.....im gonna wack off another 1/2-3/4 more and see where im at, total im at maybe a 2-1/2'' drop but im lookin to tuck those tires in.

Ive heard this from a lot of hotchkis owners- I hate to cut my brand new springs:squint: But like other if it doesn't sit right, I'm gonna have to I guess. Should have them installed in a month or 2.

And remember that the springs will "settle" a bit over time..

Make sure they're seated properly in the lower control arm.VERY good advice. If they are not seated properly in the upper and lower pockets it will get the car up. Also, do you have solid bushings, Polysomething or rubber. The poly could be binding and you would need to push down on the car to get it settled properly.

yeah, maybe even loosen all front control arm bolts to get the car to settle properly and then retighten them.

If you are just short of 1 coil, go to 1 full coil first. Once one full coil is cut off, the end of the coil drops down into the spring pocket and the car drops approximately 1"

trust me there seeted, jumpin on the fender snapped them into the pocket haha :rolleyes:
