do the C6 Zo6 rear rotors have a emergency brake built in like the f-body does? could a C6 Z06 rotor be used on a f-body backing plates so the emergency brake would still work? Anyone know or have a picture of the back of the rear rotor? and maybe a measurement to see if it is the same as a f-body emergency brake thanks Scott

yes e brake is drum type in back of rotor .there are a few on this site that have used the 98 up camaro parts .but im pretty shure you have to make a spacer .

All of the C5/C6 Corvettes and LS1 F-bodies use a 190mm drum-in-hat, PBR Banksia style parking brake assembly. The F-body backing plate is also the actuator housing for the tappets and lever whereas the C5/C6 has separate actuator housings since they need to bolt onto the aluminum uprights.

The F-body rotor is about .53" taller overall height than the C5/C6 rotor and the difference in the drum surfaces is actually greater at .84" from the inner lip. You definitely need a spacer, and in order to remove your c-clips and axles, you'll want to make sure that the backing plate and spacer you use allows for that. If it was simple...everybody would be doing it, especially considering the straight vane F-body rotors aren't that great IMHO.
