have been considering upgrading my rear drum brakes to disc. i figure if both sides need drums, pads/shoes, wheel cylinders, axle seals, springs and other hardware, basically new rear brake system ($200-$300), i might as well spend a little more for a better set-up.

what are some things i need to consider before buying the conversion kit?(~$500)

Not sure the interchangeability of the newer trucks/Trailblazers that have rear discs. Or even front spindle change to get the dual piston front brakes. My wife's 2002 Avalanche has some pretty big front and rear calipers.

I've seen guys using the Blazer rear discs for other 10 bolt rears.
