Thought I'd post a few pics my uphill climb I got myself into. I hope to have it done by summer..... of 2010. Got a long way to go. You know it doesn't help to see all these pictures of nice, newly painted cars (Steve). The rest of us will just keep cutting, grinding and fixing rust.

Is that the DSE T56 Crossmember? Looks Like that's going to prevent stock style loop pile carpet from fitting right...

That is a DSE crossmember. I had to raise the tunnel to clear the trans. I don't know about the stock carpet fitting.

On your firewall panel, what did you do about the factory firewall protrusions for the throttle pedal and master cylinder mount so that you could lay a single flat sheet?

I cut the whole piece out from the cowl down.

A friend of mine did that to a 69 RS/SS convertible. He ended up just using a later model throttle from a pick up. Really wasn't that big of a deal.

Thanks for the compliments, it is alot of fun when I get time to work on it. The motor is DBW so I didn't need the hole for the throttle and I wanted to clean up around the column and MC.
