can't decide I went to the tire store the 17s are huge imo with stock brakes?

yeah, but if you ever want big brakes, 17's are the only way to go. ask me how I know...

If you're not going with huge brakes then the assumption that this is strictly a street car, in which case the 16s are probably fine. But you will be limited to 12" rotors if you do decide on larger brakes.
Don't know what car you have but if it's a 1st genCamaro or Firebird can still do a 245/50 in the front and a 255/50 in the rear with the 16s. Both the rims and tires will be a little cheaper than the 17s. Which looks better is up to you.

16" tire selection is very limited. 17's offer much better selections.

I have 13" brakes in 16" VWW rims using a 5/16" spacer. If you're looking at a street car there's some good choices. For track use I'd go straight to 17" rims where these is a great selection of tires to choose from.

+1 EXACTLY why I got 17's
A 16inch combo ends up costing more than 17inch. That's no joke.

2 17 x7 with 4.25 back spacing 235 45 17 hankook
2 17 x 8 with 4.25 back spacing 255 50 17 hankook
this is suppose to fit my 69 camaro what do you think,does anyone know about these tires?
