when i was spraying my wheel wells the lid of the gun somehow poped off and some paint spilled on the wheel wells. can i wet sand the paint down were the spilled paint is and then just shoot it with some more paint then clear? what do u suggest i wet sand it with 800-600?

I am not sure I am following you here on what happened, but what I think happened is;
you were spraying the base coat on the wheel wells (front?) and the lid popped off and you spilled paint on the same wheel well you were spraying.
This left puddles of paint, yes?
Yes, I would sand it down smooth with 400 or so. Since you will probably sand through the base and the sealer, you will need to sand the whol wheel well and re-seal it. Much better than risking a blend on something so easily repainted. Re-seal the whole item and repaint, then clear.
